Soviet and Ukrainian painter, father of Andrii Chebotaru. A painter with a pronounced impressionist handwriting, he left a noticeable trace in the fine arts of Crimea and Ukraine. Born December 26, 1948 in the village of Glubokoye, Odessa region.

In 1972 he entered the Republican Art School named after I.E. Repin in Chisinau.

Graduated from the school in 1976.

From 1976 to 1979 - teacher at a children's art school in Moldavia.

Since 1979 - artist in art and production workshops in Sevastopol.

Since 1982 - member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine.

  • Participant of all-union, republican and city art exhibitions.
  • His paintings are distinguished by the play of light and shadow, a lively palette and deep emotionality.
